![]() Previous to this announcement, it was announced by Namco during a press conference that Tekken 6.0 would not be appearing on any console, and that Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion would replace it. The release was later set at October 27, 2009. On October 8th, 2008, it was revealed by Katsuhiro Harada that Namco will release Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 in Fall 2009 with more content than the arcade version. Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion was released in Japanese and North American arcades on the 18th of December 2008, with a home console release confirmed by Namco Bandai themselves at a pre- Tokyo Game Show event. Two brand new characters, Lars Alexandersson and Alisa Boskonovitch will also be included. Bloodline Rebellion retains all features introduced in Tekken 6 (the bound and rage systems, as well as item moves), and all of the characters in Tekken 6 are set to return. Asuka's father - He is only heard of during the storyline, owns a dojo and teaches Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts to his students and his daughter.Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion is an updated version of Tekken 6 (originally being an Arcade exclusive).In Tekken Tag Tournament 2, even though her fighting style is officially stated as "unknown", she fights using Jun's moves combined with demonic powers. A few of Jin's moves from his Tekken 3 moveset are retained however, like the Demon's Paw or the Double Lift Kick. He abandoned this style after the events of Tekken 3, instead taking up a more traditional style of ( Kyokushin) Karate. Some of these attacks are the Spinning High Kick, Three Ring Circus and the throws, also implemented in some of his 10 hit combos. Jin Kazama - In Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament, he uses a fighting style that is a mix of Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts (at the time called Kazama Style Self Defense), taught by his mother, and Mishima Style Fighting Karate, taught to him by his grandfather.Although she practices the Kazama style, Asuka's movements are less graceful and polished, instead of being more direct and violent. Asuka Kazama - She takes over Jun's "mantle" as a playable character in Tekken 5 and onwards.Jun Kazama - The first playable character to use it since Tekken 2.This aspect is emphasized in gameplay by Asuka Kazama's and Jun Kazama's many throws and reversal moves. ![]() The fighting style incorporates traditional Japanese Jujutsu such as Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu (大東流合気柔術), a fighting system characterized by throwing techniques and joint manipulations to effectively subdue or injure an attacker, and defensive techniques used either to blend or to neutralize an attack's effectiveness and to use the force of the attacker's movement against him.
